Following a successful initial UK implementation, we are delighted to be deploying our suite of out-of-the-box mobile applications for the SAP supply chain, PreBilt™, to drive efficiency and productivity at an existing customer’s warehouse in France.
The leading provider of personal care products operates SAP Warehouse Management (WM) at its French site, with mainly manual transactions. The customer was looking for a mobility solution that could replace outdated, paper-based supply chain processes to drive further efficiency and productivity in its business operations. Due to our longstanding relationship, and the success of the previous implementation, PreBilt was selected as the ideal solution.
Following a review of the customer’s operations, our PreBilt consultants will now be deploying six applications across 40 devices for the site. These applications will be covering processes including goods receipt, internal stock movements, physical inventory count, stock enquiry, and pick and pack, enabling the capture of images, signatures, and comments to upload to relevant documents in SAP.
As part of the core PreBilt package, we will be providing the customer with our PreBilt for Analytics application, which displays real-time key metrics from SAP, allowing warehouse managers to efficiently assign tasks and resources based on live data. To reduce resource time and improve user experience, the base PreBilt framework will also include applications for viewing text from objects related to deliveries or orders, quickly decoding barcodes, and maintaining the settings for the radio frequency queue, printer, and parameter IDs. The flexibility of the platform will see our team configuring the applications according to the customer’s specific requirements and deploying them in just weeks.
To ensure all users in the warehouse are comfortable using PreBilt, we will also be working closely with the customer’s internal team to provide knowledge transfer of the solution, as well as supplying user guides for all applications deployed. The customer will also benefit from our support service following go-live, ensuring PreBilt continues to operate effectively.
Commenting on our newest win, our head of sales Paul Fraser said: “We are so pleased that this customer has asked us to extend the implementation of our mobility solution, PreBilt, to another one of its sites.”
“This latest project, in our longstanding relationship with the company, is testament to the expertise and professionalism of our team, who have over time demonstrated their ability to collaborate with multiple business stakeholders to successfully deliver on all elements required in a project.”
PreBilt is our suite of mobile applications that can digitise end-to-end SAP supply chain processes and eliminate the need for manual tasks or outdated RF (Radio Frequency) technology. It offers numerous business and operational benefits including improved stock accuracy and productivity, as well as reduced staff training time, stock take time, and carbon footprint.
