We are celebrating after our commitment to quality, service, continuous improvement and information security has been recognised by the International Organisation for Standardisation (ISO), which has awarded us certifications in ISO 9001: Quality Management and ISO 27001: Information Security Management.
The accreditations come following a comprehensive external review of our systems, processes and procedures, during which ISO Auditors spoke with key members of the team to gain a deeper insight into our operation. Each standard requires strict criteria to be met and evidence that best practice guidelines are clearly followed, with our team being able to demonstrate the robust protocols and tight security measures we adopt within our operation.
ISO 9001: Quality Management is designed to ensure customers receive consistently high-quality products and service. To obtain this standard we needed to demonstrate excellent quality management principles including a clear customer focus, strong senior leadership, a process-based approach to our operation, in addition to being able to showcase the continual improvement within the organisation.
As a technology business, handling lots of different data daily, we understand the importance of keeping all our systems, information and processes secure. ISO 27001: Information Security Management sets out guidelines to manage the security of assets, financial information, intellectual property, employee details and third-party information. To gain this accreditation we needed to demonstrate strong information security measures, effective processes to protect our own and our customers’ data, robust methods of dealing with security threats and clear employee awareness training.
While we have always known that we implement best practice in both quality and information security management, it is fantastic to have that independently verified by ISO, providing reassurance to our customers that we are following the recognised industry standards.
